Think Tank II: Chicago, February 23rd!
I'm pleased to announce the next BFB/COFRA Think Tank!
Saturday, February 23rd
9:30am - 2pm
Harold Washington Library
Cost: FREE
The Deal
The first Think Tank was a great success. Now that the holidays are over, it's time to refocus our efforts and work on making COFRA - the Coalition of Fat Rights Activists - an organization we can be proud of. We'll be talking about action plans, divvying up goals, and of course snarking about many things.
If you weren't at the first Think Tank, we definitely want you to join us! And if you were, we really want you to join us!
The Location
Chicago's Harold Washington Library is a gorgeous building on the south end of Chicago's Loop. Easily accessible by public transit (Green, Orange, Pink, Brown lines) and car (corner of State & Congress), it's a nice central location for our discussions.
How to Sign Up
If you are interested in attending, you must RSVP via email with the number of people attending as well as your BFB member name(s), if applicable. Walk-in folks aren't allowed, sorry.
There is no charge for this event but, if you want to donate a buck or two towards the facility rental costs, that would be appreciated!
Emails with agendas and more detailed information on our facility will be sent once your registration is confirmed!
And a Note
Due to our contract with the Library, this event is not open to the general public. Thus, you must be a registered BFB member in order to attend the event.
If you have any questions please ask them in the Forum thread or right here!

I am very excited about coming out for the Think Tank (from New York) and I could really use place to stay. Anybody got a couch for me? And I'm an excellent house guest too! I'm a really good cook, I make wonderful conversation and I'm not allergic to your pets.
Next time you come to New York you've got a couch reserved for you.
