Ban the Fat: A Follow-Up
Remember the rather ridiculous article in the Central Florida Future suggesting that obese people be banned from restaurants? The original article has had its comments feature removed, but a series of letters to the editor have been published. They're all good.
It takes all kinds of people to make up this world, and views like Ms. Zilizi's are the cause of many of the world's problems today. Also of note: BFB has blipped on someone's radar at the University of Central Florida. A few people have come to check out the site from a private UCF server devoted to online coursework, so it seems that it's been noticed.

Ban obese people from
Ban obese people from restaurants? Is this person kidding? They'd effectively be banning half the U.S. from eating out. That' s an opinion clearly based on prejudice.
What restaurants need to do is offer more healthier options than they currently do. I'm not saying everyone should diet or needs to diet, but if restaurants offered healthier food along with other options, that probably wouldn't be a bad thing.
