Sarahbear

I've lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma all my life, and it's not so bad as people here would have you believe. I like it here, because it's sorta like me. Not too big, not too little. It's good sized and, while it has its low points, it cleans up good.

I'm a night owl. I'm not a people person. I don't do well in large groups of people I don't know. I don't even do well in small groups of people I don't know. I like the familiar, and I'm not crazy about change. I'm just outgoing enough that I can go to a party or to a club and have a good time. And I don't mind dancing by myself.

I'm an artist. I have an associate's in art from TCC. I'm also currently after my BA in English. I can't do anything with those slips of paper here, except teach or get into graphic design (neither of which interest me), but I have them. I'm a writer. I write fiction (some based on truths, some not so much), but I dabble in (mostly bad) poetry. Though there are people out there much better at it than me, I'm not too shabby.

I'm a liberal. I'm into human rights and free speech and freedom of choice. I think Emperor W should be dumped on the side of the road in Baghdad.

I'm not a Dieter, but I try to eat good food. If I slip up and eat a bag of Lays Sour Cream & Onion potato chips, so be it, tomorrow is another day. I work out three times a week to keep my body toned and my knees strong. I'm 155 lbs over the weight I "should" be, and I'm okay with that.

I'm not as ambitious as I'd like to be, but I'm smarter than I think I am. If I gave myself half a chance, I might just turn out okay.
