Yes, I know it sounds crazy but I actually found my life getting BETTER after turning 40, and getting past 210 lbs...and finding to my delight that more men began noticing me to boot! So now I call myself a BBBW (Big Beautiful Black Woman)...formerly an insecure "skinny girl" with not much else going for her than being thin!

So I know for a FACT that just because one is fat it doesn't have to hold you back in life or love if you don't want it to...and I firmly believe that more people should speak out and show that we who are big can also be healthy, wealthy, wise, pretty, sexy and have successful lives, too!

I am a singer/songwriter/poet/guitarist who bankrolls her musical aspiration as a receptionist/security officer. In this past year, I've written several songs, had several "gigs" and had the courage to "busk" in front of Graumann's Chinese theatre in Hollywood, California!

My other passions: history, astronomy, the coast, bicycling, gardening, reading, creative writing, working to effect change as an activist, spoiling my daughter and grandson, attending arts and cultural events! I've also been a unrepentant and outspoken loyal and true Rick Springfield fan since 1972!
