I am 5'8', almost 300 lbs., and I have been overweight ALL my life. I do not know what it is like to be thin. My mother was overweight and my father was of average size. My mother always thought it would be good to keep me overweight with her. Her reasoning was, no one will want you and you can just stay here with me. My mother passed away back in "98", and she is not here with me obviously. I have been on yo-yo diets for years and I lose some and gain more back. I have a boyfriend now and I know deep down inside he wishes I was thinner. I don't really know if there are any men out there who would accept me for me, and not wanna change me. That's ok, because I like who I am now and will change for no one.
