I'm in my early 40s, happily married and child-free. After taking some time to help my husband lauch a film production company and making a fledgling attempt to start a photography business of my own, I returned to corporate America in the fall of 2006.

I read voraciously, think "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies" is the worst movie ever made, and love to travel. As my husband does not love to travel, I am lucky that his mother does. She and I are going on a cruise to Antarctica in 2008; my husband is staying home to watch the cats. We're all cool with that, including the cats.

I am apparently far less conventional than I think, as I dare to be fat, childless and happy, all things that violate "the rules." I like to write letters to people complaining about their anti-fat nonsense, but realize, along with many of you, that I engage in fat acceptance on a daily basis, just by living my life and not allowing people to get me down because I'm bigger than they think I should be.
