An Autobiography
A husky athletic kid, "dieted" endlessly by mother, fat from puberty, then anorexic from ages 19-33. FA/anti-dieting go hand in hand for me. Though I discovered these ideas in 1990, I stayed at what Erdman calls "pre-acceptance" for years--appreciated other fat people but desperately did not want to be fat myself (because of the social/sexual costs).
I seldom talk about size revolution issues any more. I pretend they don't exist, I involve myself in science and nature, focusing on what interests me. I want y'all to keep fighting the good fight, though. :)
