The 2300

A few administrative notes (or as they used to say in the Usenet & Gopher days, administrivia:)

• First a big big sincere welcome to all of the new members! Hi! Good to see you! Be sure to check out the Events and Forums!
• For Members, you'll notice a new feature up by your greeting and photo in the upper left: Friend Watch. In essence this lets you keep tabs on the events and forum topics your pals have made. Coming soon: more! And remember, you can mark someone as a friend from her or his profile page! Easy peasy.
• Our membership is now just a smidge under 2300. Naturally, this isn't 2300 active members but still, that's pretty snazzy.
• We were featured in the Autumn 2007 Web Links section of the Australian version of Reader's Digest. And yes, I know that was a while back, but I just found out. Hi Aussies!
